A night of turmoil Sunday night’s turmoil resulted in the worse violence witnessed in Athens since 2008. A number of shops, cafes, businesses and cinemas were destroyed or damaged as a result of sporadic rioting. Meanwhile members of Parliament voted in favour of receiving the second 130bn euro bailout which will result in further austerity measures being imposed on the country
